How to add an Advert Footer

You can add different advert footers across your account, ranging from Global right down to User specific. Before adding a footer, there are a few important points to keep in mind:

  • If you are copying and pasting text you have already written, ensure you paste it as plain text otherwise unwanted character formatting may appear in your adverts.
  • URLs should not be added within the footer text, as some posting destinations will not accept them.
  • The footer will not be visible to users when posting.
  • The footer will only appear in the advert text on the destinations posted to.
  • If the footer is later edited, it will only update for new and reposted adverts. Adverts that are 'quick reposted' will retain the previous footer.

This Global footer will be applied to all of your adverts, across all users by default. However, it will be overridden by any Group, Subgroup or User footers that exist in your account.
