Setting up your posting currencies

Having our own team members spread across the globe, we fully appreciate the importance of tailoring our service for different regions.

That's why inside your idibu account you have the option to:

  1. Set your default currency
  2. Create a bespoke list of other available currencies

Default currency

Setting a default currency means that each time you create a vacancy, the default currency will be used automatically. 


If you are working with idibu from inside your CRM, note that the currency of your CRM vacancy, where supported, will take priority and overwrite the default

To set your default currency

1. Go to 'Settings' and select 'System settings' from the drop down list.

2. Click on the 'Currencies' tab.

3. You'll see the 'Default currency' section at the top of the page.  

4. Click on the drop down arrow and select the desired currency from the list.

5. Click 'Save settings'

What if I can't see the currency I want to set as default in the drop down list?

The available currencies that appear in your default currency drop down are defined by those selected in your available currencies list. To add a new currency here, simply follow the instructions below. Once saved, you can then select and save this as your default currency.

Creating a bespoke list of available currencies

This speeds up the posting process by removing the need to scroll through a long list of currencies to find the option you're searching for. In a couple of simple steps you can remove currencies you don't need, and add those that are most relevant to your business.

1. Go to 'Settings' and select 'System settings' from the drop down list.

2. Click on the 'Currencies' tab.

3. Under 'Available currencies' you'll see a 'Select currencies drop down list...

...and a list of the currencies which are currently active on your account...

To add a new currency to the list

1. Click on the currency drop down arrow.

2. Start typing the required currency in the search box at the top of the list. When the currency you are search for appears, click on it to add it to your list.

3. When you have finished radding the currencies required, click 'Save settings'.

To remove a currency from the list

1. To remove any currencies from the existing list, simply click the red X to the left of the currency in question.

2. A warning will appear to let you know you are about to make a global system update. If you are happy to continue, click OK. 


Your changes will not be finalised until you click 'Save settings'
