- Limitations to keep in mind
Current feature status: Beta on selected accounts
Where they can be found
When you open your candidate list, you will see the summary snapshots displayed against each candidate.

Hovering over the snapshot will display the full summary:

The full summary can also be found on the candidate profile page below the Address field:

The summary is also added as a candidate note which will also be forwarded to supported CRMs.

How to use them to your advantage
The candidate summary tool quickly reveals potential job matches in the candidate list. The goal is to help you prioritise which candidates you should review in more detail.
Like any AI tool, it has its limitations so the CV should still be reviewed as part of your sifting process. However, the summary will help you find the most suitable candidates first.
When they are created
Following activation of the feature on your account, AI summaries will be generated for any new candidates that are added.
Note
Candidate summaries will not be generated by default for any of the pre-existing candidate data you have in your idibu account. However, they will be updated in the scenarios outlined below.
When they are updated
- If an existing candidate applies to a new advert and appears as an applicant, a summary will be generated for them.
- We will also generate a summary for them if they have applied with an updated CV/Resume.
- Summaries that have previously been generated on candidate records will be updated if the candidate applies with an updated CV/Resume.
Limitations
- Like any AI model, the summary generation will be based on the quality of the data it is fed, but that not withstanding we expect that it may still be prone to hallucination at times.
- The summary generation is processed via a queue, so the speed at which summaries appear will depend upon the volume of candidates being processed into your account at any given time.
- The summary will provide an overview that leans more toward strengths, and won't provide comment on aspects of their experience that as a recruiter you may evaluate as counter to the candidate's strengths.
- Sometimes it might not be possible for a summary to generate from the CV/Resume.
