Note

We would recommend that you only repost adverts that have either expired or been deleted. This is because upon reposting, the original advert connection with the vacancy will be broken, so applications to the old advert will not arrive in the vacancy.

How to repost the inactive user's advert(s)

The process is pretty much identical to the usual reposting process. It is just that the owner of the advert will be changed as a result.

1. Find the advert you wish to repost.

2. Click the circular action button and select 'Repost'

3. On the posting page you will see that the advert sender has now defaulted to your name. You can click here to select an alternative user as the advert sender if you wish.

4. Complete the reposting process as normal, making any edits required to the advert text, selecting the posting destinations and the fields needed.

5. Once you have clicked 'post adverts' you will see the advert listed as being created by the sender selected. This will be in effect, a brand new advert with a new posting history.

Can I still find the original advert?

Yes. Although the original advert will no longer be connected to the vacancy, you can use the search field in the Adverts tab to search by the reference number and select the advert from the list. This will filter the advert manager to display the original advert below the new one.
