How to track the adverts posted via idibu from inside Bullhorn
There are two ways in which you can track the adverts posted via idibu from inside your Bullhorn account:
- The 'Publishing Status' field
- Vacancy notes
Publishing Status field
When an advert is posted via idibu against a Bullhorn-synced vacancy, we will update the 'Publishing Status' field in the vacancy list with a 'Published - Submitted' value.
This means that you can filter your vacancy list to check which vacancies have had adverts posted out via idibu.
If the vacancy has not been posted, it will be listed with the default 'Not Approved' status.
Note
- The 'Published - Submitted' status only indicates that the adverts have been posted out. It does not verify whether they have been successfully posted to all of the destinations selected. To check this, refer to the Ad Manager tab inside the idibu iframe.
- The field status is only updated the first time that the adverts are posted. It does not change when the adverts are deleted, expired, or then subsequently reposted.
Vacancy notes
In addition, when an advert is posted via idibu against a Bullhorn-synced vacancy, we will also add a note to the Bullhorn vacancy, providing further details as to where the advert was posted to.
In the comment field, you will see 'Vacancy advert sent via idibu to...' and the names of the destinations.
The action will automatically be recorded as 'idibu note', along with the date and time.
A new note will be added each time an idibu advert is posted or reposted against the vacancy.
Note
- Similar to the status field update, the note only describes the destinations that the advert was sent to. It does not verify whether the posting has been successful on those destinations. Again, idibu Ad Manager is where you will need to check that.
- The time and date recorded against the note may differ from the time and date recorded in idibu Ad Manager, as the time for the information to be passed into Bullhorn via the API may vary.
