How to track your actions and find existing records when using aggregated search

When using our aggregated search tool, it’s helpful to know who you’ve already viewed and added to idibu - whether that be against a vacancy or the general candidate pool.

We’ve introduced a set of labels that not only help you to do this at a glance, but also view existing records already created in idibu by other users. Connecting to existing candidates means that you can reduce the number of job board credits used.

In this article we will show you the following labels and functions:

  1. Candidates you have viewed
  2. Candidates who have been added to idibu
  3. Viewing the idibu profile of a candidate already added
  4. Candidates who you have added to a vacancy
  5. Candidates who you have downloaded to your desktop

Note

Viewing and adding external candidates to idibu in most cases will result in job board credits being used. See this article for more details.

Candidates you have viewed

When you have viewed a candidate record, either by clicking on their name or the blue drop down arrow, a grey ‘viewed’ label will appear.

Candidates who have been added to idibu

If a candidate has been added to idibu but not the vacancy you are searching against, we will display an amber ‘added’ label next to their name.

Please keep in mind that this label will only appear once the candidate has been fully loaded into idibu, and you may need to refresh your page.

This label will appear if:

  1. You have added the candidate to idibu, but not the vacancy
  2. You or a colleague have added the candidate to idibu via another search

In the case of the latter, you can click on the ‘added’ label to view the idibu record. See below for more details.

Viewing the idibu profile of a candidate already added

When your search results load and you see that a candidate has been added to idibu already, you can click on the amber ‘added’ label to view the idibu candidate record.

Click the label and their idibu record will open in a new tab on your browser.

Important

Viewing existing idibu records in this way reduces the number of job board credits used. It also means you can see what activity has taken place to date with the candidate. We therefore strongly recommend using this method rather than clicking on the candidate name or blue arrow drop down.

Candidates who you have added to a vacancy

When you have added a candidate to your vacancy, a green ‘added’ label will appear.

Please keep in mind that this label will only appear once the candidate has been fully loaded into idibu, and you may need to refresh your page.

Once this label appears, you can click it to open the idibu record in a new tab on your browser.

Candidates who you have downloaded to your desktop

If the ‘Download CV’ option is active on your account, when you download a candidate CV to your desktop a blue ‘downloaded’ label will appear.
