How we record candidate source data in Bullhorn
In this article we’ll explain how candidate source data works in Bullhorn for:

Candidate records
When a candidate record is created in idibu, we allocate the source to the record and this remains permanent as the source of creation.
When a candidate is forwarded to Bullhorn, this is the source we allocate to the candidate record.
Vacancies
Although a candidate is created in idibu with one unique source, that candidate may apply to other jobs in future through different sources.
Every time the candidate applies to one of your adverts, we record the application and source in the candidate notes.
When the candidate is forwarded to the related Bullhorn vacancy, this source is logged there. However, it will only appear once that candidate has been moved to shortlist.
How source data can be displayed differently in 'Online responses' and 'Shortlist'
If a candidate already exists in Bullhorn, when they appear in the 'Online responses' area of a vacancy the original candidate creation source will be listed there:
However, when the candidate is progressed to 'Shortlist', their application source will appear:
