Giig - CRM integration setup

This guide will walk you through connecting your idibu account to Giig, enabling seamless candidate and vacancy data transfer between the two platforms.

Here is the basic outline of how this integration works:

• The integration uses the idibu iframe, which opens up idibu's dedicated interface as part of the posting process.
• Candidates must have a status assigned via the traffic light system to be forwarded to Giig via webhooks.

Prerequisites

• You must have admin access to both your idibu and Giig accounts.
• You will need your idibu ID and Secret (provided by your idibu account manager or generated directly on your idibu account).

Step 1: Enable the idibu integration

1. Log in to Giig as an administrator.
2. Click the cogwheel ⚙ symbol in the top-right.
3. Navigate to the Advertise section and select Job Board Multi-Posters.

4. Click Connect under idibu.

   

5. A window will pop up where you will be able to enter your idibu ID and idibu Secret.

   

6. Click Connect to save.

Step 2: Configure the webhook

1. Login to idibu as an administrator.
2. Access Settings —> System settings —> Webhooks and click the Add Webhook button.
3. Configure the webhook by pasting https://giighire.xyz/api/v1/integration/idibu/webhook   into the Payload URL field.
4. Set the Content type to application/json.

5. Only enable the Candidate event.

   

6. Click Save Webhook.

You’re all set! Your idibu and Giig accounts are now connected, streamlining your recruitment workflow.
