Viewing idibu candidate details inside your CRM

In this article, we introduce you to your idibu candidate records, but keep things fairly high level with links to more in depth information. That way, you can get an overview of what's going on, but as you play around inside your records and become more comfortable with finding your way around, you can refer back to this article to delve a little deeper.

Key information

When a candidate is uploaded into idibu or applies to one of your vacancies, their profile is automatically populated from their CV.

At the same time, we automatically search for any available social profiles, creating links and uploading a profile picture.

Updating details

Any information added can easily be edited and updated by either clicking the 'edit' button...

Or for quick amendments, you can click on the text in question.

To quickly update a field without text, simply click the small '+' icon.

You will also be able to see and do with the candiate record:

  • Documents that were uploaded by the applicant and upload more if needed.

  • The details about the record, such as when it was created, by whom and from what source.

  • Options to 'Merge' or 'Delete' the record, subject to the permissions you've been granted.

The three candidate tabs

Most of the activity you'll be doing is likely to centre on the four candidate tabs you'll find inside the candidate record.

1. Profile

The profile tab is where your main candidate information is held.

Within this page you'll find all the personal details for your candidate, together with active buttons to email and send SMS messages.

You can see a Google map tool which allows you to zoom in to the candidate's location, giving you a much better sense of their commute and travel time to your client locations.

You can also see the vacancies they are currently allocated to, their application history, and add them to multiple vacancies and change the ATS status, all from within this page.

Below the 'Education' field, you also have a 'Background Info' field, allowing you to store key information as a permanently visible note.

At the bottom, you find any custom fields created on the account.

They are visible on every candidate record once created.

2. Notes & emails

The 'Notes & emails' tab is where you can add your own notes to the candidate record regarding conversations you've had or changes in circumstances. As you will see in the linked article, you can also tag these notes to make it easier to quickly filter and find the note you are looking for.

It's also where you will also find emails sent and replied to that have been recorded in the candidate record (either using integrated email or maildrop).

As an extra surprise though, you will also find any SMS messages sent and replied to from inside idibu, along with other activity like changes in their idibu ATS status on a particular vacancy.

3. CV

The CV tab allows you to review the candidate's original CV without the need to waste time downloading the document.
